Teach networking and make introductions within the GCC-HIMSS professional society, and/or others, as necessary

Help define the protégé’s skills and career goals

Motivate the protégé to initiate activities on his/her own

Provide the protégé with constructive information and feedback

Be flexible and prepared for changes due to “life events”
